United States Air Force

CONCEPT

The United States Air Force was created in 1947 after WWII ended and they first saw combat in the Korean War. They are the main airborne force for the US Military.

Overview

Before 1947, there was no Air Force as its own official branch. The Army, Navy, and Marines all had their very own Air Corps. The branches today still have their own air groups but they don't have near the numbers of the Air Force. The air force is actually for the most part not made up of pilots. Computer engineering is a very large component of the air force. They fight hard everyday to make sure that crucial information be kept safe from cyber-terrorism. On the battlefield they provide support to all the branches but usually only if the other branches air corps is unavailable.
