CONCEPT

A corrupt military organization that serves as the antagonistic force of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam.

Overview

In the Mobile Suit Gundam Universal Century timeline, the Titans are ostensibly a branch of the Earth Federation military founded under the guise of hunting down the last remnants of the Principality of Zeon and the Zabi family. However, as seen in Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, the organization is in fact a corrupt military body established through an elaborate coup devised by select Earth Federation officers and Zeon turncoats that left the standard Earth Federation military severely disabled. The Titans serve as the antagonistic force of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, in which they wage war against the AEUG. Over the course of the series, a number of power struggles take place as the manipulative Paptimus Scirocco (Character) enacts his goal to assume control of the organization. However, the Titans are eliminated after the AEUG successfully destroys a large portion of their fleet using a commandeered colony laser and Kamille Bidan (Character) kills Scirocco in their final battle.
