Overview

 The eighth annual Video Game Awards were held on December 11, 2010 at 8:00pm Eastern/5:00pm Pacific.  The show was hosted by Neil Patrick Harris (Person). The show also had a number of celebrity guests including: Olivia Munn, Dane Cook, Chris Hemsworth, Denise Richards, My Chemical Romance, Danny DeVito, Nick Swardson, Hades (Character), Kratos (Character), Rachel Bilson, Tony Hawk (Character), Jose Gonzalez, Guillermo Del Toro, Michael Chiklis, Dominc Monaghan, Nathan Fillion, Jason Ritter, and Eliza Dushku (Person).   The show revealed special content for upcoming games including: Arkham City, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Thor: God of Thunder, Mass Effect 3 (Game), Resistance 3 (Game), Prototype 2 (Game), Insane, Portal 2 (Game), Forza Motorsport 4 (Game), and SSX Deadly Descents.
