Overview
A premium currency is an in-game currency that is purchased with real world currency. Often times items, buffs, upgrades, or cosmetics can be purchased using either only the premium currency or a much higher amount of non-premium currency. In some games premium currency can only be purchased, but some games do allow players to earn it in game, usually at a very slow rate.
