Outsider
The Outside is an enemy unit from XCOM: Enemy Unknown. It is a special unit that only appears in certain story missions and whose purpose seems to be guarding the flight deck of it's UFO.

A new unit created for XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the Outsider is slightly stronger then the run-of-the-mill Sectoids. They seem to only be used in a few story missions before being replaced by the Sectoid Commander (Concept). They do not possess any unique abilities other then the ability to use Suppression with their Light Plasma Rifles. The Outsider also only seems to spawn when you approach a UFO's flight deck area, and usually will not leave that area, instead opting to protect it at all costs.
