==Overview == Only found in Silent Hill: Homecoming, the Lurker is is a humanoid monster that has its legs fused together, making it almost resemble a sick version of a mermaid. It appears to move using its hands, which are nothing but metal hooks. Its mouth has a vertical orientation and occupies most of its face.
Because the slit-mouth in its face resembles the cuttable doorways Alex encounters throughout the game (which often reveal hidden places or secret locations), it may be safe to say that these creatures could be a manifestation of the secrets that Alex's father Adam kept from him or the secrecy surrounding Shepherd's Glen in general. Then again, given the Silent Hill franchise's obsession with sexual imagery, it could also be a representation of the vulva.
