Overview
Indie Royale is a collaboration between [http:/indiegames.com IndieGames.com] and Desura (Concept) which provides bundles of independent games for sale for a limited time. The games can be downloaded and / or redeemed through Desura and Steam (Concept).
The price fluctuates based on purchase history: paying the minimum price raises the minimum price, while choosing to pay more the minimum price. The first bundle, called the Launch Bundle, provided DLC when the purchase count hit a certain number. Since then, many of the bundles have opted to provide DLC bonuses right from the start, along with other bonuses such as OSTs and chiptune albums.
Between the launches of the Graduation and June Bug Bundles, [http:/www.indieroyale.com Indie Royale] released a collection page to track all bundle purchases upon the creation of an account, which can be tied to a user's preexisting Desura account. Included on the page are milestones that give free music or games based on number of bundles purchased. So far, the bonus are Chiptopia chiptunes album for five bundle purchases, Super Space Rubbish (Game) and it's OST for ten bundle purchases, and radiangames' Fireball for fifteen bundle purchases. Another feature of the collection page is that it allows users to place previous bundles on their wishlist, which will then notify the user if the bundle should be reformed in the future.
