Gotei 13
CONCEPT
The Gotei 13 consists of 13 squads that each posses death gods the leaders of these squads are the captains who make up the Gotei 13.


Gotei 13

The Gotei 13 is the name given to the group of death gods who have obtained great power these are captains. The captains make up of 13 squads each with a lieutenant and around 200-500 death god warriors. besides the 13 squads there are 3 special groups the Kido corps which deals in magic conjuring, Special Forces which is ran by who ever is in charge of the 2nd division and deals with spying and detention/jail and last the Scientific Bureau . the Gotei 13 is headed by Shigekuni Yamamoto Genryusai he is also leader of the 1st division. The Gotei 13 was created to diminish hollows, a creature that eats the soul's of humans.

Too become a captain in the Gotei 13 you must be able to use Bankai, or either Have the recommendation of 6 captains and approval of another 3 and the other, to defeat another captain with at least 200 witnesses.

Captain and Lieutenant particular clothing

Captain Soifon

 2nd Division wears a sleeveless and backless Shinigami outfit (when she is fighting) under her haori, which is standard issue for the head of the Special Forces. Soifon also wears a yellow sash


Captain Retsu Unohana

 4th Division wears an obi sash rather than standard haori.


Captain Byakuya Kuchiki

 6th Division wears an extremely expensive scarf named ginpaku kazahana no uzuginu and a white ceremonial hairpiece.


Captain Sajin Komamura

 7th Division wears shoulder guards over his haori and large gloves which go up to his arms.


Captain Shunsui Kyōraku

 8th Division is probably the most flamboyantly dressed of the captains, always seen wearing a straw hat plus a flower patterned haori over his standard.


Captain Kaname Tōsen

 9th Division wears an orange scarf with his outfit, a sleeveless kosode as well as white boots.


 Captain Tōshirō Hitsugaya

 10th Division wears a green sash pinned with a star around his shoulder to hold his sword.


Captain Kenpachi Zaraki

11th Division wears a jagged edged haori, which was taken from the previous captain.


Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi

 12th Division wears a bloated purple cravat and a hat decorated with two horizontal spikes, he later changes the hat.


Lieutenant Chōjirō Sasakibe

 1st Division wears a jinbaori over his Shihakushō.


Lieutenant Shūhei Hisagi

 9th Division wears a sleeveless kosode and black choker.


Lieutenant Rangiku Matsumoto

10th Division wears a top that is deliberately loose and hangs open to reveal her ample bosom. She also wears a pink scarf (or stole), and wears her lieutenant's badge around her waist with her sash, tied in a bow.


Lieutenant Nemu Kurotsuchi

 12th Division has a very abbreviated outfit: the hakama is absent, leaving her with a mini-skirt version of the kosode that is belted at the waist.
