Face Mapping

CONCEPT

Face Mapping allows the player to insert their facial likeness onto a character within the game. It has become a recurring feature in a few EA Sports games, such as the FIFA and Tiger Woods franchises.

Perfect Dark

The game Perfect Dark was originally going to be one of the first face mapping games using the Game Boy Camera (Object) to put a player's face on a character in the multiplayer mode. The mode was functional and used by game journalists, but was quietly dropped from the game before release in the wake of the Columbine shootings.
