Overview
The 2025 edition of the Evo World Championships returned to the Las Vegas Convention Center's West Hall with some adjustments due to various issues that occurred during the event's first year at the venue in 2024. Most notably, access to the arena finals on Sunday required a separate badge/ticket, which cost an additional $30. This guaranteed the purchaser a seat in the arena rather than having to wait in a line for several hours outside hoping a spot would open up.
Registration
After a record breaking year in 2024 where over 10,000 different players registered to compete, signups were down across the board in 2025. All six returning tournament games had fewer players including 1000 fewer for Street Fighter, 2000 fewer for Tekken, and 500 fewer for Guilty Gear.
