CONCEPT

A race allied with Humanity that evolved from the population of the colony ship Yang Liwei during the collapse. They resided in the Dreaming City under the rule of Mara Sov before being drive out into The Reef.

The Awoken are one of the three playable races revealed so far for Destiny, the two others being Humans and the Exo. They are described as "exotic, beautiful, and mysterious". They were inspired by elves, vampires, ghosts, and angels.
