Auto-Pause

CONCEPT

The game pauses automatically after no input for a certain time.

While many games will pause the game automatically if a controller is disconnected or powered off after no input (e.g. PlayStation 3 'Power Save Settings' will turn the controller off after 10/20/30 mins) and some PC games will pause automatically if window focus is changed, games which Auto-Pause while in-game without any changes on a system level are much rarer. Where time has a big effect on a game either because of fast paced action in real time game play, or due to a game's own time system, leaving a game idle for a short time can be detrimental and so having Auto-Pause kick in quickly is beneficial.
