Overview
Inbound is a localization company that translates Japanese video games into English as well as English titles into Japanese. The company was founded in November 2005 by Sega (Company)'s former Localization Director, Osamu Shibamiya (Person), who has worked on dozens of titles since joining the industry in 1994. Since its establishment, inbound has worked on a number of games with different publishers with their services spanning from translation work to editing, dub casting and ADR direction as well. Sega of America remains inbound's most consistent client with the company working on a large number of their titles over the years. Several entries in the Sonic the Hedgehog (Franchise) franchise were translated by inbound and they have notably worked on many of the early installment in the Yakuza series, including Yakuza 0 (Game), as well as the first two Valkyria Chronicles (Franchise) games. Inbound's complete gameography is unknown since a lot of the company's work is under non-disclosure agreements but here is a list of some of their known credits:
