Overview

Proud Dinosaurs is an indie game development studio based in Istanbul (Location), Turkey (Location). It was founded in 2016 as a small team. Initially, the team consisted of a developer, a sound engineer, two game designers, and an art designer. Over the months, more specialists joined in and currently there are nine Proud Dinosaurs members. The first game of the company, Macrotis: A Mother's Journey, is a 2.5D puzzle-platformer that utilizes the Unity Engine (Concept) and is planned to be released in September 2018.

History

The company was founded by Çağan Yanılmaz, a developer that worked at Gamegos previously, and Emin Can Kargı, a sound engineer. The initial name of the company was Orsam Bilgi Teknolojileri ve Danışmanlık A.Ş. (Orsam Information Technologies and Consultancy Inc.). Even though the company operates under the roof of Orsam Tarım ve Zirai Ürün Pazarlama ve Danışmanlık Tic. A.Ş. (Orsam Agriculture and Agricultural Products Marketing and Consultancy Inc.), it enjoys complete freedom in developing games. Proud Dinosaurs is the public name and trademarked brand of Orsam BTD.
