  Holistic Design (initially named Several Dudes Holistic Gaming) is an American video game design company and publisher of Pen&Paper roleplaying books. Their output of games include The Hammer of the Gods, which inspired the Heroes of Might and Magic (Franchise) series, Machiavelli the Prince (Game) and Emperor of the Fading Suns (Game).    The major roleplaying franchise is the 'Fading Suns' universe, a futuristic setting.
