Deep Red Games (AKA D&R Studios) was founded in early 1998 by Kevin Buckner and Clive Robert (formerly involved with Hasbro Interactive Europe). The company is based in the UK and is widely known to create quite eccentric tycoon & managment style games of medium complexity. Following a re-structuring process in 2007, the company changed its name to D&R Studios. Throughout its existence, Deep Red Games maintained development offices in the UK and Asia and focuses on creating mass-market compatible tycoon style games, all of which blended an accesible theme with family-style graphics with gameplay, that was easy to pick up, while still offering challenges for advanced gamers.
