DICE Canada

COMPANY

Originally Sandbox Studios pre-2001 and sometimes known as Digital Illusions Canada, DICE Canada was the Canadian division of Swedish game company DICE. Later closed down in 2006, after EA's acquisition of DICE.

Formerly known as Sandbox Studios (Company) until it became the Canadian Division of Swedish game company DICE (Company). When DICE was acquired by Electronic Arts (Company) in 2006 and following a court case, the DICE Canada was closed down and most of its former employees went on to work for the DICE headquarters in Stockholm (Location), Sweden. The former lead designer and CEO have founded new software companies since. Frederik Liliegren and Armando Marini (Person) founded RedJade (Company) and TUSK Interactive respectively.
