8D Studio was founded by ex-GSC employees who worked on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Among the developers, most notably is, Alex Sytianov founder and CEO, who was a game designer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. Their first game is called Sketch Tales. It had a Kickstarter campaign, which ran from November 2014 until it was cancelled in Jan 2015 due to not reaching its goal of $50,000. Sketch Tales was later released on Steam Early Access on 28th of September 2015.
