3D Ages was a studio who produced and published the early entries in the mostly Japanese-exclusive Sega Ages 2500 series.

The studio was a collaborative effort between Sega (Company) and D3 Publisher (hence the name, which is Sega D3 backwards) and exclusively worked on the Sega Ages 2500 series of budget remakes of classic Sega console and arcade releases for the PlayStation 2 (Platform). The studio was retired upon the release of Sega Ages 2500 Vol. 17: Phantasy Star Generations II, after which point Sega (who had gained control of Sega Ages 2500 from D3) changed how they handled future releases, favoring compilations and optimized, near-perfect ports over polygonal remakes with additional content. Several of 3D Ages' Sega Ages 2500 titles were released in North America and Europe as part of Sega Classics Collection (Game). Reportedly, 3D Ages had also been working on updates of Alex Kidd in Miracle World (Game), Streets of Rage (Game) and Phantasy Star IV before their dissolution.
