Not much is known about this gigantic, green, antlered frog or why the blacksmith has tied it to his anvil.  

The frog only has one purpose, and that is to store the massive armoury of weapons that the player will collect over his/her travels.  

Much like the The TARDIS (Object)'TARDIS, the frog appears to be much bigger in its inside than on the outside.  

The only time the player can ever see this beast untied and 'happy' is at the massive party at the end, after saving the orange princess whose face is never seen, until you kiss her.
