Girls' Frontline
WA2000 makes a small appearance in the game's story, during the Chapter 1 Night Missions, where she works with MP5 to acquire intel and gather supplies left by G36 (Character). Though they are successful in their mission, WA2000 is embarrassed when the supplies turn out to be chocolate ice cream, and hopes The Commander didn't overhear that bit of information. She also has special stories with the Commander during her holiday-themed costume events, but otherwise doesn't appear in the main story after that. In gameplay, WA2000 is a 5* ultra-rare Rifle T-Doll with above-average Accuracy and Rate of Fire compared to other Rifle Dolls. WA2000 can empower a Handgun Doll directly in front of her in her Echelon by reducing their skill cooldown, and her active skill can temporarily increase her own Rate of Fire even higher.
Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium
WA2000 has taken on the name "Makiatto" after her favorite drink (which she publicly denies is her favorite), the Caramel Macchiato. When not taking on hit jobs around the Green Zones, Makiatto can be seen relaxing at the cafe owned by Springfield. In gameplay, Makiatto is a 5* limited banner character. She retains her sniping prowess, and her sniper bullets can be infused with ice.
Trivia
- WA2000 and her weapon namesake are from the Walther WA2000, a semi-automatic, bullpup configured sniper rifle designed and produced by Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen. Designed between 1970s–1980s and produced between 1982-1988, originally designed for police counter-terrorism units in response to the 1972 Munich Olympics Massacre.
- WA2000's artist claims that the squared pattern on her shoulders comes from the weapon's use by law enforcement, and the red tie in her default skin is a nod to Agent 47 (Character) from the Hitman (Franchise) series, who was the first character to use the WA2000 sniper rifle in video games.
