Tsarevna Alena (or Princess Alena, in a previous localization) is one of the main characters in Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen and is a princess of the Zamoksva Kingdom.

Tsarevna Alena is the daughter of the Tsar of Zamoksva, a kingdom in the world of Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen and one of the game's numerous playable characters. In the game's original localization for the NES version, Alena's title is Princess, but in the DS remake, the localization team chose to depict Zomoksva as a Russia-like monarchy, thus the change in her title. Alena is an adventurous tomboy skilled in hand to hand combat, and her weapons of choice in battle are claws.
