Tick Tock is a magical pocket watch with the ability to separate people's souls from their bodies, allowing them to time travel (back to the earliest point their soul was "saved"), possess other people, and mind control them if they hesitate. Tick Tock has a cute female voice. One day, a prinny cleaning Overlord Laharl's bedroom found Tick Tock buried in his mess. Tick Tock immediately saved his soul, causing him to fall unconscious. Using Tick Tock is what allowed the prinny to stop Overlord Laharl's attempted assassination, and save the prinnies from a fate worse than death (all of them are already dead anyway), having their salary cut!
