Overview

Takamaru is the protagonist of the Famicom Disk System (Platform) title The Mysterious Murasame Castle (Game). A samurai in feudal Japan, he fights through a series of castles to defeat the evils within, ultimately confronting Murasame (Character) at the end of the game.

Takamaru makes a special guest appearance in Samurai Warriors 3 (Game) as a playable character in Murasame Castle mode, a game mode that's structured as a sequel to the original Famicom Disk System game. With the aid of the Samurai Warriors (Franchise) cast, Takamaru fights through a series of stages to once again face off with Murasame. He can also be unlocked as a playable character in Free Mode.

Super Smash Bros.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Takamaru makes an appearance as one of the many stickers in the game. In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, he appears as an Assist Trophy (Object).
