Music with Journey
Perry was the lead vocalist on nine Journey albums, including Departure (1980), Escape (1981), and Raised on Radio(1986). Journey broke up in 1987, only to re-unite (with Perry) in 1995 and produce the the Grammy-winning album Trial by Fire. Perry quit once more after suffering from hip problems, leaving the rest of the band to go on with various other lead-singers (Steve Augeri, Jeff Scott Soto, and currently Arnel Pineda). Perry has claimed in the past that a second Journey reunion is unlikely, but not impossible.
==Solo Work == Perry released two full-length solo studio albums, 1984's Street Talk and 1994's For the Love of Strange Medicine. Street Talk included the songs "Oh Sherrie" (which hit #3 on Billboard's Top 100) and "Foolish Hearts" (which hit #18). Perry also was included on the original 1985 "We Are the World" single.
