Sledge is the boss of the Headstone Mine in Borderlands. The Guardian Angel describes him as "a bad man, who has done terrible things to the people of Fyrestone". His fighting style is very physical and uses attacks like grenades and a ground pound. Defeating him drops "Sledge's Shotgun", a double over-under shotgun with incredibly high spread.[1]
