Shigeki Baba
A fellow inmate at Abashiri's prison alongside Saejima. He looks up to him, like a brother, and fears what awaits him outside of prison once he's free.

Overview
Despite his seemingly candid nature around his fellow inmates like Taiga Saejima, beneath the surface lurks something darker. Baba was once Yakuza, like Saejima, and same as him he was imprisoned for murder. In truth, his position in prison was convenient for the true mastermind's plan in wanting to keep Saejima in prison until the right time. Although, because of the respect and kindness that Saejima has shown towards him, Baba becomes conflicted when carrying out his orders. He's struggling to reform himself of the things he's done, and doesn't believe he deserves forgiveness or any kindness.
