Overview
Shaft is a dark priest who first resurrected Dracula (Character) in 1792 leading up to the events of Dracula X: Rondo of Blood. Despite being killed twice by Richter Belmont (Character) (once as a human, and once in ghost form) he returned in 1797 and successfully summoned Dracula's Castle, directly prior to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. During this time he briefly managed to both possess Richter Belmont and resurrect Dracula once again, although both he and Dracula were promptly destroyed by Dracula's son Alucard (Character) soon after.
