Sergio Busquets Burgos (born 16 July 1988) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder.

Busquets is considered to be a deep-lying playmaker capable of directing gameplay through short and calm passes, exceptional positioning, and his singular reading of the game. These attributes make him exceptionally press-resistant. After 15 years and 481 caps with La Liga club Barcelona, he now plays with Major League Soccer club Inter Miami.
