Following Richard Hunt's passing in 1992, Scooter was largely phased out of Muppet productions. He made his first appearance in years in 1999's Muppets From Space in a brief speaking role by Richard's brother Adam. He has since returned as a mainstay, now performed by David Rudman (Person).
