Robert S. McNamara was the US Secretary of Defense from 1961 to 1968, serving under Presidents Kennedy and Johnson. His likeness is featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Robert McNamara appears as a playable character in the Zombies mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops. While not available until after completion of the game's campaign mode, there is a secret Zombies level in which McNamara helps protect the Pentagon from waves of zombies. Helping him in this endeavor are John F. Kennedy, Richard "Tricky Dick" Nixon, andFidel Castro (Character). All four of these characters are player controlled, and each comes complete with humorous one liners. McNamara also appears in the single player campaign, in a level where he leads the player character Alex Mason (Character) throughthe Pentagon. He is voiced by Robert Picardo (Person) in Black Ops.
