Rick Wheeler was a police officer that was sent into the future along with his long time rival Zoda (Character). He enters the F-Zero grand prix for the sole reason of chasing after Zoda. It is also slightly implied that he may have feelings for Jody Summer (Character).    In the anime, after Captain Falcondies fighting Black Shadow (Character). Rick claims the title of Captain Falcon.
