Pyre Fierceshot is a Charr ranger who has been persecuted by his Charr brethren for speaking out against their beliefs. He has set a goal for himself to free his people from the dominating hand of the Charr shamans who imposed their beliefs onto the entire race.

Overview
Pyre is part of a group of Charr who believe the ruling Shamans of his race to be misguided, and was exiled for his conflicting beliefs. But not before he and his warband destroyed a temple, and killed the Shaman in charge of it. From that point on, he and his allies have fought a guerrilla war against the domineering Shaman caste. His anger and hatred against the Shamans for deceiving and manipulating his people can only truly be understood by him and his warband. He has sworn vengeance. The false rule of the Shamans must be broken.
