Princess Guinevere, known affectionately as Prin Prin, is the ruling princess in the kingdom that the Ghosts n' Ghouls games take place in. Her loving nature and fair rule have earned her the praise of everyone in her kingdom. Astaroth (also known as Lucifer) sees this as a problem to his hostile takeover of the kingdom. As long as there is hope, there is a way to lose control. For this, Astaroth often abducts the princess and attempts to corrupt her in his hellish realm. However, she is rescued each time by her bravest knight, Sir Arthur.
