Panther is a skilled pilot who was added to the Star Wolf team to replace Andrew and Pigma. He considers himself a lady's man and flirts with Krystal whenever the opportunity presents itself.

== Panther Caruso is a minor character (sometimes an enemy) in the Star Fox (Franchise) franchise. He is a member of the team Star Wolf, rivals of the Star Fox team. His first appearance is in Star Fox Assault (Game), where he is introduced as a new member of the Star Wolf team (replacing Pigma Dengar (Character) and Andrew Oikonny (Character)). When he meets Krystal (Character) at the Sargasso Region, he is immediately attracted to her (thus, when she leaves the Star Fox team in Star Fox Command (Game), she goes directly to Panther). Panther is never seen without his signature rose, which is also the symbol on his Wolfen. In Star Fox Command, his ship is the Black Rose.
Panther is very flirtatious when it comes to women, which is often shown in his conceited mannerisms. He doesn't care about embarrassing those around him, even if those people are other members of the Star Wolf team (he especially doesn't mind embarrassing Wolf O'Donnell or Leon Powalski (Character)). Panther also makes an appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Lylat Cruise stage, where if the player is using either Fox McCloud (Character), Falco Lombardi (Character), or Wolf, then a cameo appearance from him can be triggered by using a taunt.
