The former Guildmaster of the Twilight Brigade (a Guild devoted to finding the Key of the Twilight) and an old friend of Haseo's. He is one of the greatest mysteries of The World and seems to know more than he lets on.

Ovan is a Steam Gunner and one of the major players of "The World: R2" and rarely gets close to anyone. In fact, the only two players that seem to know him well are Haseo (who he rescued from PKers on Haseo's first day in The World) and Shino (Who apparently knows him in outside of the game.) He has a lot of mysteries and isn't one do divulge any of them. Through the story of .hack//GU, you find that underneath his locked arm is the AIDA. His avatar is Corbienik the Rebirth.
