Sinner #12, a former military tactician who is extremely deferential to Dante.

Overview

Like many other Sinners, Outis past is shrouded in mystery. She seems to be a former military officer and sailor who is extremely deferential to the chain of command, obeying Dante's orders even if doing so contradicts the last thing she said, though Dante's notes warn not to let her use her mind for anything other than assignments. Her base identity wields a curved short sword (kopis) with "Ουτις" (Outis, or "nobody" in Greek) etched on it.

Identities

Blade Lineage Salsu Outis wields a jikdo that deals slash and pierce damage, with skills that give herself Poise and deal more damage the lower the enemy's HP is. Seven Association South Section 6 Director Outis uses a bladed cane in addition to her normal Seven broadsword, dealing mostly blunt damage. Though not particularly strong on her own, Seven Outis can inflict Rupture on enemies and support her allies, making them deal extra damage to enemies who are Weak or Fatal to their attack type. G Corp. Head Manager Outis takes on the role of the Old G Corp. Head Manager that Gregor and the Sinners encounter in Canto I of the main story. The unit inflicts mostly blunt and Sinking damage on enemies while buffing her allies. However, all of her combat Skills are one-coin, making it difficult to win a Clash. Molar Office Fixer Outis takes on the role of Olga from the Molar Office in Library of Ruina (and later Limbus Company) in an alternate timeline. She wields a serrated cleaver, dealing mostly blunt damage and inflicting Tremor on enemies. Cinq Association South Section 4 Outis is a master duelist, wielding a rapier that solely deals Pierce damage while giving herself Poise on successful hits and dodges. Lobotomy E.G.O::Magic Bullet Outis is the Captain of Lobotomy Corp's Training Team in an alternate timeline, wielding the Magic Bullet EGO equipment drawn from Der Freischütz (F-01-69) in Lobotomy Corporation (Game). In addition to dealing blunt and pierce damage while applying Burn to her enemies, Magic Bullet Outis also has unique skills capable of exploding Burn damage, or building up her "Magic Bullet" meter which can be detonated with her Skill 3 (Magic Bullet Fire). However. at <=10 SP, the same skill has a 50% chance of hitting her allies as well as enemies. Like certain other ID and EGO, this can only be Extracted or Dispensed on Walpurgisnacht. Wuthering Heights Chief Butler Outis takes on the role of Josephine from Wuthering Heights in Canto VI of Limbus Company. Dealing blunt damage by punching the target with her hand wrapped in a serviette, she also applies Sinking on successful hits, doing more damage and gaining more SP when hurting enemies with less SP than her.

Trivia

Outis is based on Odysseus, from the Greek epic The Odyssey by Homer. "Outis" (Greek for "nobody" or "no one") was the name that Odysseus gave to the cyclops named Polyphemus, whose eye he later poked out. So that when Polyphemus shouted that "Outis" had attacked him, his allies assumed that he was complaining "nobody" had attacked him, and did not aid him.
