Despite being one of the characters on the opening screen of the game, Orwin has yet to appear in the story aside from a cameo in Act 2. During the "Half-Anniversary" event in Crestoria, Orwin breaks the fourth wall by complaining about his lack of appearance in the game, and forcibly inserts himself into earlier story events where he never appeared. Kanata then kills him, saying he'll do his best as the series protagonist to make the developers hurry up with the story Act that focuses on Orwin.
