Overview

Necrid is a character exclusive to the console versions of Soul Calibur II. His two designs were created by American comic book artists Greg Capullo (Person) and Todd McFarlane (Person). He is capable of forming temporary weapons by channeling energy from the circular device on his chest.

History

Once a great warrior who managed to reach Soul Edge, Necrid was contaminated by the evil energy of the sword, becoming a bloodthirsty monster. Now, requiring the evil energy of the cursed sword to survive, Necrid pursues Soul Edge.
