Overview

Mother Brain is an evil artificial intelligence found in the 2300 A.D. era of Chrono Trigger (Game). With the world devastated by Lavos (Character) and humanity dwindling, she reprograms robots with the goal of destroying the humans that are left and allow for machines to take over. Among the robots she reprograms is Atropos XR (Character), a female robot that, prior to her memory corruption, is a close friend of Robo (Character). Robo and the others put a stop to Mother Brain's plan by confronting her in the Geno Dome and destroy her.
