Max Steel is an N-Tek agent. He is the best of the best. However, he wasn't always an agent for N-Tek. Before he was an agent he was Josh McGrath a 17-year-old with a bright future in extreme and dangerous sports. When he decided to pay his step dad a visit, he was attacked by N-Tek's worst enemy. Psycho. Psycho knocked Josh into some experimental nanites, which started to die in Josh's body. So Josh's Step dad decided to give Josh a new experimental formula that will allow the Nanites or Maxites to survive. The procedure was a success, and he was allowed to change back and forth from Josh To Max. Max is a enhanced 26-year-old while Josh isn't as enhanced as Max.
