Mary does not directly appear in Shin Megami Tensei: NINE but rather her image is used to personify a computer system within the game's world.
She has two forms: one closer to her traditional hooded appearance, the other a statue-like visage flanked by animals such as a Tyrannosaurus Rex, fish, eagle, bull, and lion. This latter form can serve as a final boss on certain alignment paths, and she will summon demons such as Cerberus (Character), Gryphon, Mizuchi (Character), Yamata no Orochi (Character), and Nandi (Character), which represent the animals on her statue. When a demon is defeated, its respective image on the statue will break off.
