Marco Rodrigues
CHARACTER» Marco Rodrigues
A Brazilian karateka in the Fatal Fury series and a disciple of Art of Fighting protagonist Ryo Sakazaki. He was originally known in some regions under the humorous name Khushnood Butt.

Overview

Marco Rodrigues is a Brazilian karateka in both the Fatal Fury / Garou Densetsu and King of Fighters series of fighting games, originally debuting in Garou: Mark of the Wolves. Prior to The King of Fighters XV (Game), he was known in English regions as "Khushnood Butt" and was known otherwise as "Marco Rodriguez".

Trained in the martial art of Kyokugen Karate, Marco is a disciple of Ryo Sakazaki (Character) and shares the same techniques. While he is playable in both Garou: Mark of the Wolves and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, he is also seen in The King of Fighters series as a background cameo (latter appearing in the Art of Fighting team's endings since The King of Fighters XIV (Game)).

His role in the Fatal Fury series is minor, as he enters the King of Fighters tournament during Garou: Mark of the Wolves to test the might of Kyokugen Karate. Afterwards, he returns to his dojo only to find it in disrepair after "The Gym Buster" defeated all of its toughest fighters and caused all of the students to quit. With the dojo's signboard gone, he ends up moving to Yuri Sakazaki's fitness club to hone his skills, only to participate in a new King of Fighters tournament.

Gameplay & Moves

Butt's super uppercut

Butt uses the same Kyokugen style as Ryo, Mr. Karate, and Yuri Sakazaki (Character). His moves are very similar, including a fireball, flying kick, and even Ryo's old multiple punch move. Butt also has a shoryuken-type move which can be canceled after the initial animation, leading to combo opportunities.
