Marceline the Vampire Queen

CHARACTER

Marceline is a 1000-year old vampire in Ooo.

Marceline is a vampire featured on the television show Adventure Time. Although initially presented as an antagonist to Finn and Jake, she eventually becomes good friends with them. Despite her young appearance and personality, Marceline is actually over a 1000 years old.

A young Marceline meets the Ice King

She has a troubled relationship with her demonic father due to his alleged neglect and his careless consumption of her french fries, an infamous event that occurred while she was a teenager (her "Fry Song" addresses this painful memory). She also has a troubled relationship with the Ice King (Character); as a child living amongst the ruins of the Mushroom Wars, she was befriended by the Ice King's former self--Simon Petrikov--before he suddenly left her due to his mental instabilities (a fact she wouldn't learn until much later, as seen in the episode "I Remember You"). His sudden abandonment frustrates her, as does his lack of memory for their friendship and for his former self. Nevertheless, she still cares very much about the Ice King.

She appears in both of the Adventure Time video games, serving as a boss in Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?!
