The manager's grandfather started a psychiatric hospital at the village. After he retired, the hospital fell into disuse. The manager used the hospital building to house people who wished for solitude. The village itself is located far from town.
Tomoyo After: It's a Wonderful Life
The manager was first seen on August 11 during Tomoya's, Tomoyo's, and Kanako's first day at the village. She served as their guide around the village. The manager explained about the village, the villagers, and Mishima's story. Tomoya volunteered to fix several electronic tools for the manager.
The next day, Tomoya suggested building a school in the village to make the village more suitable for Tomo to live in. The manager didn't take him seriously and granted him permission to do so. The following day, she asked Tomoya for his reason for committing so much effort to this endeavor, and he simply explained that he is doing it for a friend. The manager confessed that she wouldn't be able to change his mind.
On August 17, Tomoya split his head and was unable to continue his work on the school. The villagers took up the work in his stead. The manager explained that Kanako befriended the villagers and breathed new life into them with her energetic personality. The renovation of the school was completed on the 22nd, and the manager brought sake to celebrate it with Tomoya and Kanako.
