Despite
the fact that his arrogant actions result in the destruction of his
netherworld. Since he's left his body behind, he just exists as a book
floating in space. He's ready and able to command, but unable to do
much outside of barking orders.
Thoughout the story Lord Zetta is trying to regain his body by taking over netherworlds. With each netherworld Zetta takes over he regains a portion of his mana power. The worlds are made by his firends writeing wishes in the sacred tome. By the end of the game he regains his body but in all other game cameos he appears in his book form. In one of his cameos in disgaea 3 zetta appears as a teacher of the neatherworld instatute.
