A native of Connecticut, Larry enlisted into the 101st Airborne immediately after finishing high school. It was in training that he first met Michael Garnett. He was killed in action near a farmhouse on the French countryside during the allied invasion of Normandy. He is believed to have also touched the "cursed" pistol that may have lead to his demise.
