Overview
Originally added to the Arthurian Cycle by the French, Lancelot became one of the most famous Knights of the Round Table, and indeed one of the most famous knights of all time. In games he is often depicted as King Arthur's best knight and champion. Sometimes his affair with the Queen is germane to the game, and sometimes it isn't mentioned at all. He is sometimes seen wielding Excalibur, the Holy Grail, or both, though in the legend he never actually touched either.
