Joe Perry is the lead guitarist for the rock band Aerosmith and was a playable character in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. He also features in the obscure arcade shooting game "Revolution X".

Joe Perry was born in 1950 and began playing guitar from an early age. He formed a band with bassist Tom Hamilton that would eventually become Aerosmith. He left the band during the late 70s and embarked on a solo career called The Joe Perry Project, but would later reunite with them.
