Overview

Jagar Tharn is the primary antagonist of The Elder Scrolls: Arena. Initially a trusted battlmage of Tamriel's emperor, Uriel Septim VII, Tharn betrays Septim and banishes him to the Daedric realm of Oblivion. With the true emperor imprisoned, Tharn disguises himself as Septim and rules Tamriel with an iron fist. However, after holding onto his power for a decade, Tharn meets his end, and Emperor Uriel Septim is rescued from his imprisonment.
